TetherBall and Tetherball Equipment |

Tetherball may have been brought back and made popular today by the film Napolean Dynamite but those of us who grew up in the 80's knew what tetherball was long ago. Many a recesses were spent battling it out on the Tetherball court. I used to go back to the class room with rope burns on the arms and knocks on the hang from where you hit the little knob on top rather than the ball. Then if the ball is flat and you manage to hit the ball and not the knob on top then it still stings because it's freezing cold outside. We used to take a wrist band and wrap it around or hand or if your sweat shirt was long enough it wasn't uncommon to see some one's hand all tucked up in their sleeve using the cloth as protection. No list of "man sports" is complete without Beer Pong. Who ever invented this game deserves some sort of award. There are fewer drinking games that get you drunk as quick as this game that requires some plastic cups, a ping pong ball and a table (or flat surface.) Also, beer pong is much more fun when played with the opposite sex. Beer pong is definitely a co-ed sport.

The meaning of life will not be figured out by some philosopher, it will will be figured out by a fisherman. The only problem is he will forget it shortly after he figures it out. Fishing is one of the most relaxing past times men do today. There are several types of great fishing but this section will focus on Bass fishing and various bass tournaments and their rules. Every man should know how to fish or at least have some basic knowledge.

Kickball was the second best thing to do during recess other than Dodgeball. However since kids are no longer able to play dodgeball or kickball because it has a winner and loser then we must rely on ourselves to teach our kids the games of yesteryear and beat this pussification bullshit that they have been fed by our school systems for the last decade or so...

Dodgeball was my favorite PE activity when I was in elementary school. It's really too bad that they don't play it in school anymore. God forbid we toughen our kids up a little and teach them about losing when it doesn't matter. I digress... Dodgeball has got to be one of the most fun "sports" there are out there. Boys of all ages can't help but laugh and smile as we hurl the red bouncy balls at each other as hard as we can. This is a great break down on the rules. (more like guidelines)
