As a matter of fact even the cleanest looking water CAN kill you in a slow and painful way so it's critical that once you find water that you learn how to make purify it. As always John hit the nail on the head with his infinite wisdom. Do you have the survival skills to survive if the shit hits the fan? Can you survive without water or shelter? Some of the information will help you in wilderness survival situations but let's face it most of us live in the city so hopefully I can find skills that can be used in urban survival scares as well. I can think of a single place that is immune to natural or man made disasters and spending some time to educate your self might very well be the difference between life and death. If not life and death...these skills will make your stay the wilderness or survival situation a little more comfortable.
